The Project
The Digital Aid Project (DAP) is a global, interdisciplinary network of public health specialists and health innovators inspired by solidarity, a culture of dialogue and cooperation for the vulnerable, aiming to ensure the provision of continued, resilient healthcare in long-term care facilities, through tailored recommendations and bold, digital health solutions during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.
The DAP Toolset, comprised of the Aid Toolkit (a list of tailored and validated recommendations) and the Digital Health Chart (a catalogue of available health innovations) provides transparent, need-based support to patients, healthcare professionals and organizations worldwide on strategic initiatives for the identification, adoption and integration of effective safety strategies and resilient digital health solutions and it is available free of charge worldwide in over 10 languages.
Their Vision for the Future
The DAP envisions a whole newly created community (2020) building the future of healthcare with no gap between health innovation and “real-world” practice, where healthcare providers and innovators are efficiently working together as part of a global network with and for the patients.
